OPEN HOUSE – Fairfield Inn (Marriott) - Roswell
That’s right – this coming Thursday, February 25 – 6 PM.
Celebrating our Community Partnership with the Fairfield Inn (just up from Cattle Baron’s on N. Main), we will gather for this Open House, hosted by the good folks of the Fairfield Inn from 6 to 7:30 PM; we will recognize with many thanks the many contractors who have helped us in building our houses. There will be refreshments provided by the Fairfield Inn, and opportunity to share our mission with those interested. We hope to see our Board Members there!
The SHED is almost complete! Six OLD people wo don't have enough to do during the week, showed up Thursday and Saturday and have almost completely finished the shed.
Another workday may be attempted next week.
Of course, this is "Weather Permitting"!
Our work address will be 1206 East Beech which is one block west of Atkinson and two blocks south of Hobbs.

Our next board meeting will be March 8th at 6:00pm, at the new Pioneer Bank Building at 3000 North Main. They have offered us the use of their Community Room.
THE FRAMING February 22, 2010 Edition
From the Board Meeting Minutes of February 8: The Board voted to approve the Covenant and report on the Quality Assurance Checklist, permitting the Board President to submit this annual report to Habitat International. The highlight of the meeting was provided by the introduction of our new Partner Family (Nicole Hidalgo, her daughters, Kimberly & Alisa; Jonathan, her 5 year-old son, was not present, but Nicole’s parents did attend. In addition, we welcomed guests at the meeting: Edgar & Ernestine Lytle and Ernestine’s parents, Willy & Margaret Blakely, who came to show support and interest in working with us.
COMMITTEE NOTES
Building – The committee has begun building the Shed for the next house (1206 E. Beech); it is hoped we can finish the Shed soon, and planning for the next Groundbreaking can proceed. We note that Thom Gray has become Building Committee Chairman; Mike Puckett remains an active member of the committee.
Community Relations – With the help of Bob Williams and Jim Bloodhart, Rita Doerhoefer has been promoting the February 25 Open House at the Fairfield Inn on Radio and with an Ad in the Roswell Record.
Family Support – The committee plans to confer with Nicole Hidalgo regarding their participation in our planned building of the next home.
Church Relations – Bob Williams, new chair of this committee, hopes that we can increase our participation from the churches of Roswell.
